Coaching
What is Coaching?
Coaching is a cutting-edge profession that uses accelerated techniques to bring out the best in you. It was born twenty-five years ago in the United States, later expanding to Europe and Asia, and to the rest of the world in the last ten years.
It is a successful resource for facilitating transitions, exploring creative outcomes, and developing transparency and confidence. The objective is to remove actual or perceived barriers to your advancement—issues that are holding you back from enjoying a harmonious life.
Coaching utilizes empathy, the ability to be in the client's shoes. It is the process of understanding a client's subjective experience by vicariously sharing that experience, while maintaining an observer position.
Your life experiences make you unique. We are partners working together and focusing on your success. Successful coaching means helping people to know themselves and feel empowered. Coaching is not judgmental and does not give advice. My pledge to you is empathy and trust.
This unique relationship between client and coach is only about YOU, the client. It is about your goals, the accomplishments you want, the life you want to live, and how I can support you in getting there. It is a relationship that puts you in the driver's seat; I will sit at your side, ready to support you, encourage you, and listen to you without judgment. I have a childlike curiosity concerning your dreams, goals, and wishes. I will help you stay on track and move forward. I am your Coach!
Coaching: Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Social Skill, and Empathy
Coaching is tool to learn self-awareness, the capability of knowing ourselves as well as the effect we produce in others. It is an inner search for who we really are. Why we are here? What is our purpose?
Self-awareness is understanding, which is the first step in the process of re-creating yourself. The more you know about yourself, the more you will understand how you feel and why you feel that way. You will understand why you behave the way you do. That awareness allows you to change. It gives you the chance to change in ways that could otherwise be unfeasible.
Coaching is a tool to learn self-regulation, the ability to control your emotions and motivation, the inner drive to achieve. You can look at the world through one color of glasses or another; you choose your perspective. Self-regulation allows you to change points of view to understand yourself and those around you.
Coaching is a tool to learn social skill, the ability to create rapport. People with social skill ask the people they interact with about themselves, expressing curiosity in their lives and interests. Socially skilled individuals tend to be self-assured people. They know they are imperfect, yet they do feel they are special and that they deserve the love and respect of others.
Coaching and Interpersonal Communications
You may be wondering why I want to help people adapt to their new surroundings. The answer is simple: I have been in their shoes. I was born in one country, moved to another and many more years later to a third country, America! Within the United States, I moved from one city to another many times. This was a large amount of change I faced.
I am passionate about soul work and helping people with important life transitions, whether it's a move, a separation, a career change, or something else. Working in these areas is my gift and it's what I'm called to do.
I like to help others take hold of their opportunities to create change and move forward toward a better life.
My clients are individuals who face change in many forms. Change always brings a learning experience. I encourage you to embrace it. I'm here to help!
